Reversi is a strategy game for two players, played on an 8×8 uncheckered board. There are sixty-four identical game pieces called tokens. Each reversi token has a black side and white side. Players take turns placing tokens on the board with their assigned color facing up. There is a hover over effect, letting the current player know where it is "legal" to place their token.
At the beginning of the game, you will be assigned a color, black or white. On your turn, place your token on the board so that an opponent's token(s) are in between your tokens (in a straight line: horizontal, vertical, or diagonal). All of your opponent's tokens, that are between your tokens, will be turned over to become your designated color. The object of the game is to have the majority of tokens turned to display your color when the last playable empty square is filled.
